1. Self-care

Self-care is achievable at any time of the day. Whether it’s doing a face mask, painting your nails, taking a long shower, or simply adding a few steps to your nightly routine, there is always time for self-care. It’ll make you feel clean and productive, and it will help you sleep better.

2. Watch a movie or binge watch a show

By watching your favorite show or movie, you’re able to pass time super quick! Whether it’s a new show or simply something you watch over and over again, it’ll keep you awake. Who even needs sleep?

3. Look through old memories

Look through memories on your phone, camera roll, Snapchat memories, TikTok drafts, or even film that you may have sitting around in your room. You never realize how many memories you really have until you take the time to look at them. You’ll laugh, cry, happy cry, and even cringe.

4. Online shop

Online shopping passes time super quickly while also being productive. Simply go to your favorite clothing website and whether you need clothes for an event or summer or just want to add things to the cart that you know you will never buy, you’re going to end up forgetting about everything else.

5. Bake something

Whether from a box or from scratch, baking something can be so therapeutic and relaxing. Whisking, cracking eggs, measuring, and finally eating your lovely creation will fill you with so much joy and keep you entertained at 3 am.

6. Listen to music based on your mood

Listening to music can help with so many things. If you’re feeling sad at 3 am and want to be happy, you can listen to upbeat, positive music. If you’re happy and want to let out your feelings, you can listen to sad music. By simply listening to our feelings and moods, we can cope and relax with music. 7. Rearrange your room

Rearranging your room can be impulsive yet so therapeutic. Even something small like moving a desk or a chair can take your mind off of everything else. It puts you in a creative space and takes you away from reality as you figure out how many more inches to move your bed.

8. Do something rebellious

Text them! Do it!

You may regret it in the morning, but when else is it acceptable to text someone and confess feelings if not at 3 am? Never! So, text them! And if there’s no one to text, do something else. Bother your friends, sneak out, blast music, make a mess. It’ll take your mind off of things and give you the adrenaline sleep doesn’t give you.

9. Plan your breakfast for tomorrow

How about a hearty and healthy start to your day, rather than a quickly-downed black coffee and protein bar? Your metabolism will thank you. Maybe some overnight oats?



10. Be creative!

Have a t-shirt you like but never wear? Cut off the bottom to make a cute crop top or the sleeves for some easy muscle tee vibes. Painting? Grab a piece of paper and some paint! Let your mind wander and lead you to new places.
